Role Overview: The Strategic Account Manager for Mid-Market Clients will focus on retaining and expanding their designated account portfolio. This involves selling to unserviced locations and introducing innovative products, services, and solutions that align with customer business goals.

This position aims to optimize our offerings across the customer's operational landscape by collaborating closely with our branch network and their clientele.

Revenue generation will stem from selling additional services, products, and lines of business to existing clients, with a targeted growth goal of over $500k annually from a managed portfolio exceeding $3M.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth by leveraging LAMP principles to enhance customer relationships and identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute tailored business strategies to uncover growth prospects and capitalize on them effectively.
  • Focus on profitability by utilizing analytical tools to measure profit margins and create strategies for more lucrative renewal negotiations.
  • Ensure retention of the current customer base through proactive contract renewals and extensions.
  • Monitor relationship health through regular risk assessments and customer satisfaction evaluations, developing action plans to address any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in large account management, sales, or operations.
  • Ability to leverage data and business intelligence to formulate targeted growth strategies.
  • Engage customers in objective-driven discussions, utilizing business reviews to assess partnership success and explore expansion opportunities.
  • Document contract details, contacts, risk assessments, and sales opportunities using CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Employ Miller Heiman (LAMP) methodologies to enhance and deepen customer relationships.
  • Utilize profitability measurement tools to proactively renew business and enhance profitability.
  • Implement relationship wellness measures to preemptively address potential risks.
