Service Desk Analyst

Regional Management Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Analyst to join our team. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving problems to end-users in a call center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and resolve problems to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT Service Desk.
  • Identify, organize, prioritize, and escalate tickets, including ticket creation and documentation of open work orders.
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, and other system settings for local workstations integrated with Active Directory.
  • Develop, document, and enforce internal procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding of new users, provisioning user IDs, and ensuring equipment is set up and working as desired.
  • Provide PC system image creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Windows 7 and Windows 10.
  • Install and test computer equipment, including desktops, laptops, monitors, memory chips, cabling, and accessories, and configure end-user desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Work requires the ability to comprehend instructions to make repairs.
  • Provide conference room support, including troubleshooting A/V equipment and assisting with initial setup of meetings.
  • Coordinate repair of computer or network equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements and repair computers.
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licensing.

Requirements:

  • AA degree from a two-year college or technical school in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • One year of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and fixing hardware and software problems or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • CompTIA A+ certification is required, and CompTIA Network+ and Security+ or an industry equivalent is a plus.
  • Two years of experience working with a Microsoft Active Directory network is required.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule with nights, weekends, and an on-call rotation occasionally required.
  • Must pass a drug screen and other pre-employment screenings.

Working Conditions:

Ability to work flexible hours, occasional on-call and weekend shifts. Ability to move/lift equipment (printers, workstations, rack server items).
