Job Description

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Deals Desk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in structuring profitable and compliant transactions that meet the needs of our diverse corporate customers and drive the effectiveness and productivity of our sales teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial models and evaluation of deal economics, commercial terms, and conditionals to present risk/reward profiles for opportunities.
  • Become an expert on Callidus and Steelbrick quoting tools, reviewing and enforcing revenue recognition compliance for all quoting.
  • Partner with field sales organizations to drive large deal closure, including being a trusted advisor to field sales on deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders for decision support deal solutions.
  • Ensure required approvals, such as discounts and contractual terms, are obtained and clearly documented.
  • Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations to understand contract requirements, structure, business terms, and identification of potential risks and/or opportunities that can affect performance, growth, and strategic positioning.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in a tech environment, preferably in a finance/sales operation role.
  • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data analysis, modeling, and/or financial analysis.
  • Intermediate/advanced Salesforce.com and Google Sheets/Excel skills are highly recommended.

Compensation Disclosure:

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $70,000 - $113,500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
