Senior Product Marketing Manager, Talent Management

Role Overview: Valid8 Financial is in search of a Senior Product Marketing Manager to enhance our product marketing team as we expand our reach. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of our innovative talent management product suite and contribute to various initiatives such as pricing strategies, analyst relations, customer marketing, and brand campaigns during their initial year.

Key Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market Strategy - You will be responsible for the comprehensive GTM strategy for new product launches and features, encompassing positioning, messaging, asset development, GTM launch coordination, and internal training. Collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams will be essential to craft and validate the positioning and messaging for your product lines.

Customer Insights - You will become the authority on understanding and connecting with our core customers. Regular engagement with users, conducting research and testing, and relaying insights back to the product and marketing teams will be crucial.

Competitive Analysis - You will serve as the market expert for your products and target audiences, disseminating insights throughout the organization.

Cross-Functional Leadership - You will bridge the gap between product, marketing, and sales. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills will be necessary to ensure all parties are informed about product launches and their implications.

Sales Support - As the advocate for Valid8 Financial's products, you will influence how sales and customer success teams communicate about them. Utilizing your research and communication abilities, you will develop training sessions and both internal and external materials that articulate the value of our offerings.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in product marketing or 8+ years in roles demonstrating relevant skills.

Proven track record of collaborating closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to gain deep customer insights, craft messaging, create content, and execute go-to-market strategies.

Experience managing cross-functional projects with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with experience aligning marketing strategies to organizational objectives, complemented by creative thinking and copywriting skills.

Direct experience in SaaS for HR teams is advantageous, though not mandatory. Preference for experience in B2B environments targeting business buyers in areas such as marketing, HR, customer success, or product.

Interview Process:

We value your time and have structured the interview process for this role as follows:

- 30-minute interview with a member of our Talent Team

- 1-hour video interview with the hiring manager

- Submission of work samples: two examples of previous product marketing work (one internal and one market-facing)

- Skills assessment and presentation (maximum of 3 hours for preparation and delivery)

- Group interview with future team members from Marketing and Product

- Final discussions with CMO and executive team members

- Salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $135,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
