Role Overview: Valid8 Financial is in search of a Senior Product Marketing Manager to bolster our marketing team as we expand our operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the complete lifecycle of our new talent management product offerings and engage in special initiatives such as pricing strategies, analyst engagement, customer marketing, or branding campaigns within their initial year.

Key Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market Strategy - You will manage the comprehensive GTM strategy for new product launches and features, encompassing positioning, messaging, asset development, launch coordination, and internal training. Collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams will be essential to create and refine the positioning and messaging for your product lines.

Customer Insights - You will become the authority on understanding and connecting with our primary customers. Regular engagement with users, conducting research and testing, and relaying insights back to the product and marketing teams will be crucial.

Competitive Analysis - You will serve as the market expert for your products and target audiences, disseminating insights throughout the organization.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration - You will facilitate communication between product, marketing, and sales teams. Your exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills will ensure that all parties are informed about product launches and their implications.

Sales Support - As the advocate for Valid8 Financial's products, you will influence how sales and customer success articulate the value of our offerings. Your research and communication skills will be pivotal in creating training materials and assets that convey our product's benefits.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in product marketing or 8+ years in roles that demonstrate relevant skills.

Proven experience collaborating with product, marketing, and sales teams to gain deep customer insights, develop messaging, create content, and execute go-to-market strategies.

Experience managing cross-functional projects and the ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues across various departments.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of aligning marketing strategies with business objectives, complemented by creative thinking and copywriting skills.

Direct experience in SaaS for HR departments is advantageous, but not mandatory. Experience in B2B contexts with business stakeholders (such as marketing, HR, customer success, or product) is preferred.

Interview Process:

- Submission of work samples: two examples of previous product marketing work (one internal and one market-facing)

- Skills assessment and presentation (maximum of 3 hours for preparation and delivery)

- Group interview with potential team members from Marketing and Product

- Final discussions with senior leadership
