As a Customer Service Associate at SP+, you will be responsible for creating a seamless, enjoyable experience for our clients. This role involves processing payments for parking services and managing the flow of traffic within our facilities through the following key responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Your Role

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction aligns with the SP+ Promise.
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism by being present for every scheduled shift.
  • Accurately count the cash drawer at the start of each shift.
  • Safeguard cash and manage transactions securely.
  • Process payments and issue receipts or tickets for each transaction.
  • Calculate and communicate the total amount due for services rendered.
  • Operate the cash register efficiently, ensuring accurate transaction processing.
  • Provide information on parking services and assist customers with directions.
  • Handle lost ticket situations with appropriate forms and procedures.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, seeking supervisor assistance when necessary.
  • Answer phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Regularly check inventory levels of necessary supplies.
  • Reconcile daily transactions against cash collected.
  • Document transactions and prepare shift reports as required.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Compensation: $17.10 per hour

Benefits: Eligible employees may participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, long/short term disability, life insurance, accident insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Requirements

Education and Experience: Candidates should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent experience.

Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

License: A valid state-issued driver's license is required if driving is part of the job responsibilities.

Skills: Proficiency in basic math, ability to handle cash transactions, and effective communication skills are essential.

Physical Requirements: The role involves sitting, using hands for transactions, and occasional walking. Vision requirements include the ability to see close objects.
