Position Title: Process Control Engineering Intern or Co-op

Role Overview:
This internship or co-op opportunity is designed for students pursuing degrees in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. As a Process Control Intern or Co-op, you will engage in hands-on projects and collaborate with experienced engineers, enhancing your technical and leadership skills from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Process Control Engineers to troubleshoot daily operational challenges.
  • Participate in special project assignments that foster responsibility and improve communication skills.
  • Utilize software tools for data entry and process information management.
  • Employ AutoCAD for updating loopsheets and interconnect drawings.
  • Edit functional specification documents using Word as new equipment is integrated into DeltaV systems.
  • Conduct audits and updates of loopsheets and functional specifications within DeltaV.
  • Assist engineers during the checkout and startup of input/output systems during maintenance periods.
  • Support process control engineers in correcting interconnect issues, including managing wire updates and documentation.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant engineering program and have completed their freshman year with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Candidates must also be permanent residents of the United States.

Basic Requirements:
Currently enrolled at an accredited university majoring in Chemical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
