About EAD Management Services Inc.

EAD Management Services Inc. is a leading provider of engineering and automation services to the food, pharmaceutical, and parcel sectors. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team as an internal controls subject matter expert for simple to complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of systems/subsystems to fulfill contract requirements.
  • Programming and Configuration: Perform all programming of the control system, as required, and interface with clients, vendors, construction administrators, and project team.
  • Technical Design Reviews: Perform and document technical design reviews with other disciplines on the project team to produce the highest level of quality.
  • Project Management: Manage and perform projects in a fast-paced environment, time manage and prioritize tasks to achieve results within cost and schedule constraints.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all EAD's safety standards and practices, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create scope of work for electrical contractors, prepare electrical sections for project maintenance manuals, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and/or four years of service with the military, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of HMI or SCADA programming, configuration of software packages, and experience with electrical control systems, motor controls, VFD's, Servo's, Rockwell Allen Bradley product line, including Control Logix and Compact Logix.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and organizational abilities, ability to work independently, and effective communication, writing, and computer skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Office, plant, or client site environment.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk up numerous flights of stairs/ladders multiple times a day and/or work in tight spaces in extreme conditions.
  • May work near moving mechanical parts and equipment.
  • Office, Commercial and/or Industrial setting with the potential of exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Periodic weekend, holidays, or evening work, as needed.
  • Travel required, as needed.
