Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Channel Sales Manager to join our team at Koch Industries. As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth with our industrial channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue with industrial channel partners
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with field sales, branch management, and regional management within channel partner organizations
  • Understand the industrial business and market, including applications, standards, regulations, drivers, and trends
  • Collaborate with product managers and business development teams to identify promotional opportunities with channel partners
  • Qualify customer opportunities, engage resources, and coordinate solutions to impact customer decision-making
  • Present solutions to customers, including value propositions, and coordinate with internal teams to plan and win opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, and allowances with channel partners
  • Support sales development teams with information to enable accurate and profitable quoting
  • Ensure thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures, including standards of business conduct, intellectual property, control environment, information protection, and government regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel locally greater than 30% of the time, with annual travel to Koch Industries' headquarters in Lisle, IL
  • Prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, manufacturing operations, systems integration, or an engineering firm

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or business management
  • Additional business-related degree or experience preferred
  • Prior experience within the food and beverage industry, machine/line builders, material handling, and/or the general industrial automation sector
  • Experience working within all levels of an industrial automation plant, including senior management, controls/system engineers, maintenance staff, and sourcing
