Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager at Emerson is a critical role in driving sales growth and leading key accounts. Reporting to the Director of Sales for North America, this individual is responsible for aligning sales strategies with annual business objectives, influencing senior leadership, and providing support to Channel Partners to ensure above year-over-year market rate growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize sales resources to support territory and account plans that improve growth
  • Deliver project growth within the region and ensure major opportunities are covered and positioned for a win
  • Development of large/strategic account sales opportunities via Channel Partners alliances
  • Act as voice-of-the-customer conduit between the field and support functions within Emerson
  • Coordinate regional sales activities, such as, new product launches, account assignment, and ongoing customer needs

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering or Marketing
  • A minimum 5+ years sales experience, in a technical sales environment
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
  • Understanding of fluid mechanics and electro-mechanical equipment
  • Experience working with or selling valve actuation products
