Job Title: Outside Sales Representative, Building Materials

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our market development team, you will be responsible for representing our top siding, stone, and accessories brands to decision-makers in the building industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic prospecting strategy to engage contractors and other second-level customers.
  • Build relationships with remodelers, restoration professionals, roofers, custom home builders, and local builders to drive sales of our premier exterior surfaces products.
  • Drive contractor engagement and develop your assigned market by converting new customers to our suite of products and increasing loyalty among existing customers.
  • Promote and sell exterior surfaces building products within your assigned geographical territory.
  • Maintain a comprehensive sales database to track customer information and sales activities.
  • Attend sales meetings and provide insights on pricing and programs to cross-functional teams.
  • Address product quality issues and field-related problems in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales and territory management skills.
  • Ability to find, uncover, and hunt for new customers.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and priority focus.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to engage with existing distribution partners.
  • Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in channel sales and working with distribution partners.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Travel required, with approximately 20% overnight travel and 2-3 industry/trade events per year.

The US Total Target Earnings (TTC) for this role is $100K + uncapped sales incentive + auto allowance + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day one and PTO.
