Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team at Grote Automotive - Elkhart. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of the automotive industry, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales revenue and exceed profitability goals.
  • Lead the Sales Team: Coach and mentor sales staff to improve performance, close deals, and meet sales targets.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless execution of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Customer Experience: Foster a positive environment for customers and employees, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Recruitment and Talent Development: Participate in recruiting top sales talent and develop a comprehensive training program to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Hold sales team members accountable for CRM activity, sales performance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in the automotive industry, with a minimum of one year in a sales management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, financial, sales management, computer, and communication skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations affecting vehicle sales and the automotive industry.
