Job Summary

Village Caregiving is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our South Bend, IN office. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, and driving growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growth and Development: Identify and cultivate new client referral sources, and maintain existing relationships to drive business growth.
  • Community Outreach: Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to engage with the local community, promote our services, and build partnerships.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of caregivers and support staff to ensure exceptional service delivery and high-quality care.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Create and manage effective schedules for caregivers and clients, ensuring seamless service delivery and efficient operations.
  • Client Experience: Prioritize exceptional service for our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Territory Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive growth in the assigned territory, focusing on expanding our services and increasing market share.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a supportive and communicative work environment, recognizing and valuing employee contributions and achievements.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, state requirements, and internal standards, maintaining a culture of compliance and risk management.
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Demonstrate a working knowledge of Village Caregiving's services, processes, and compliance requirements, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Culture and Collaboration: Cultivate a strong internal networking culture, promoting collaboration and communication among colleagues and the executive team.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership and management experience, preferably in a healthcare or caregiving setting.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business skills, including financial management, marketing, and sales.
  • Communication and Interpersonal: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to use common sense to problem-solve, make sound decisions, and navigate complex situations.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines, with a flexible and agile approach to work.
