Job Description

Job Summary:

Village Caregiving is seeking an experienced and results-driven Executive Director to lead our South Bend, IN office. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, and driving growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth and Development: Identify and cultivate new client referral sources, and develop strategies to maintain and expand existing relationships.
  • Community Outreach: Initiate and participate in outreach efforts to build strong connections with local communities, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of caregivers and support staff to ensure exceptional service delivery and high-quality care.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Create and implement effective schedules for caregivers and clients, ensuring seamless service delivery and optimal resource allocation.
  • Client Satisfaction: Prioritize exceptional service for our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Territory Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive growth in the assigned territory, focusing on expanding our services and increasing market share.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a supportive and communicative work environment, recognizing and valuing employee contributions and achievements.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, state requirements, and internal standards, maintaining a strong compliance culture within the organization.
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Demonstrate a working knowledge of Village Caregiving's services, processes, and compliance requirements, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Culture and Collaboration: Cultivate a strong internal networking culture, promoting collaboration and open communication among colleagues and the executive team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership and management experience, preferably in a healthcare or caregiving setting.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent Village Caregiving professionally and effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to use common sense to problem-solve and make sound decisions, navigating complex situations and challenges.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated business acumen, with a strong understanding of financial management, marketing, and operational strategies.
