Job Summary:

TalentSource is seeking a highly skilled Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Lead and Mentor Sales Teams: Lead, motivate, and incentivize Inside Sales teams to surpass sales quotas.
  • Build and Nurture Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with production, engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment with sales goals and company objectives.
  • Provide Sales Insights and Reporting: Create and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
  • Manage Trade Shows and Events: Supervise and coordinate all aspects of trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Assess and Enhance Sales Performance: Continuously evaluate and improve sales performance, making necessary adjustments for better outcomes.
  • Manage Sales Budgets and Expenses: Create sales budgets, projections, and authorize expenses.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Data: Track and analyze sales data using key metrics.
  • Handle Customer Complaints: Resolve customer complaints related to products and services.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements to pinpoint growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate on Promotional Activities: Work with the VP of Sales on promotional activities and marketing campaigns.
  • Represent the Company: Act as the company's representative to internal and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Strong Organizational and Planning Skills: Possess strong organizational and planning abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Effective Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Possess effective problem-solving and decision-making skills to address customer needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrate great leadership skills to inspire and manage Inside Sales team members.
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Sales Forecasting and Budgeting Skills: Be skilled in sales forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis.
  • Strategic Thinking and Decision-Making: Possess the ability to think strategically and make decisions based on data.
  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Business Administration or Related Field: Hold a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. An associate degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Sales Experience: Possess at least 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or product sales.
  • Track Record of Success: Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets.
  • Leadership and Management Experience: Possess the capability to lead and motivate others. Previous leadership or managerial experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Sales Processes: Possess thorough knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and customer relationship management.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Be familiar with manufacturing processes, products, and industry trends.
  • Account Management Skills: Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple account management projects simultaneously with great attention to detail.
  • Travel Requirements: Some light travel, up to 10%, may be necessary.
