Job Summary

The Chief of Staff is a strategic advisor and key collaborator, ensuring the successful implementation of Crossroads' vision for multicultural and racial unity within the church and in the wider community. This position involves close collaboration with Crossroads leadership and strategic partners, including UNDIVIDED, to support racial healing and justice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of diversity and belonging grounded in a Kingdom perspective.
  • Actively promote understanding and respect for cultural differences and further an inclusive environment to value and appreciate the unique qualities of each person.
  • Utilize strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze complex issues and make informed, data-driven decisions that support the ministry's mission and objectives.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and create contingency plans to ensure effective implementation of strategies.
  • Lead, inspire, and motivate cross-functional teams, delegate tasks to enhance productivity, and actively mentor emerging leaders within the church and other organizations to foster growth and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor-level degree or equivalent college experience preferred.
  • Exceptional ability to write long-form and short-form content along with strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills to keep projects on track by meeting deadlines and optimizing resources, focusing on critical tasks, managing budgets, and improving processes for efficiency.
  • Able to handle sensitive information with discretion while making decisions grounded in ethical judgment and the ability to handle crises calmly.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment while staying curious and committed to continuous learning and growth.
  • Skilled in using project management tools such as Asana and Monday, as well as CRM systems, to oversee and interpret data.
  • Experienced in managing social media campaigns and adept at quickly mastering new technologies.
