Job Summary

As a Trust Investment Advisor at Stock Yards Bank & Trust, you will have the opportunity to direct the investment needs and goals of assigned investment management and trust accounts. Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Allocation: Participate in the asset allocation of assigned customer portfolios, ensuring a diversified and strategic investment approach.
  • Investment Evaluation: Evaluate alternative investments to identify opportunities for growth and returns.
  • Investment Management: Responsible for the investment management of assigned accounts, including monitoring and review to ensure alignment with client goals.
  • Committee Membership: Serve as a member of the Trust Investment Committee, contributing to strategic investment decisions.
  • Security Selection: Participate in the security selection process, identifying top-performing investments for client portfolios.
  • Client Communication: Communicate investment results to clients, providing clear and concise updates on portfolio performance.
  • Business Development: Responsible for new business development calls, identifying opportunities to grow existing relationships and develop new ones.
  • Account Growth: Develop new and additional business among existing trust clients, driving account growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business finance or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in investments, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Proven ability to successfully interact with clients, excellent communication skills, and a broad knowledge of the equity and fixed income markets.
  • Designations: CFP or CFA designation preferred, but not required.
