Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect to lead and support Salesforce and Marketing Cloud activities that strategically guide business and operating models. The successful candidate will work closely with IT and business leaders to create alignment between business and IT, and will be responsible for designing and creating deliverables that support organizational change towards achieving targeted business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Advisor: Serve as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert, providing guidance on the organization's Salesforce strategy and how to approach innovation, streamlining, and monetization.
  • Technology Expert: Analyze the organization's Salesforce technology standards, tools, products, and solutions to identify opportunities for improvement, and assess vendors, AppExchange providers, and solutions to determine the best fit for the enterprise.
  • Change Agent: Facilitate discussion around the construction of business models, including technology, business capabilities, processes, and other key business deliverables, and help strategy and business leaders understand, apply, monetize, and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies.
  • Project Manager: Partner with Salesforce Strategy & Operations VP & Marketing AVP Product Owners to manage the project portfolio, and create the architectural blueprint and establish best practices that guide the rest of the technical team on how to leverage the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Team Leader: Mentor other Salesforce professionals to solve complex systems and program problems, and work with multiple stakeholders to optimize Salesforce solutions to meet enterprise requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience.
  • Experience: Five or more years of business or IT experience with direct responsibility for strategy formulation and/or translation, business analytics, and program management.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, processes, products, and best practices, as well as experience with cloud deployment, technical and security architecture, virtualization, software design, software development, networking, Agile development, SCRUM, application lifecycle management, open source programming languages.Net/C#, Informatica, Sales/Service Cloud, or Financial Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce's Lightning Component Framework (formerly ), APEX, VisualForce, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, and Soap, Rest, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, technical solution architecture, GIT, TFS or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Architect - Preferred, Salesforce Administrator - Required, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and Platform Developer 1 are a plus, and Marketing Cloud certifications or equivalent experience a plus.
