About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Partner to join our Cincinnati Assurance practice at Cherry Bekaert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, leading, and building the audit practice focused on audit compliance and consulting for middle-market, private equity-backed, and public companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the Firm and Audit Service Line vision, strategy, and goals for the Cincinnati audit practice, as well as support other leaders in their execution of the strategic plan.
  • Ensure discipline around execution of Service Line business processes and Firm business practices for the Cincinnati audit practice.
  • Manage the utilization and productivity of professionals in the practice to achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Develop professionals within the practice and build a talent pipeline with the requisite technical expertise.
  • Drive consistency, collaboration, and communication among Service Line, Market Leaders, Shared Service Leaders, Advisory, and Industry Leaders as well as with other stakeholders.
  • Develop the Cincinnati audit annual budget and drive results against budget and key performance indicators throughout the year for the practice.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting. Masters preferred.
  • Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience with a large local, regional, or national public accounting firm.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving growth and building an office, practice, industry group, service line, or similar.
  • Ability to drive success through the influencing of Partners and staff.
