Your Role


As a Marketing Specialist at Gensler, you will be responsible for crafting proposals, conducting qualitative research, and developing presentations and various deliverables on a daily basis, utilizing both print and digital formats across diverse platforms.

Your success in this role will stem from your proficiency in InDesign, strong graphic design skills, and exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

You will collaborate with a team of passionate creatives who share a commitment to narrating compelling stories within the architecture and design sector.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with principals, senior staff, and fellow marketing team members to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials that adhere to brand standards.
  • Engage in and advocate for strategic planning sessions.
  • Create new resources to bolster business development initiatives.
  • Manage multiple marketing tasks under tight and frequent deadlines.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of Gensler's portfolio, practice areas, and overall capabilities.
  • Oversee business development activities, including the management of capital improvement program information, incoming leads, follow-ups, and tracking opportunity statuses.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Act as an integrated member of the Marketing Team.
Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in researching, designing, writing, and producing business proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
  • Advanced skills in InDesign; expertise in information design and layout.
  • Familiarity with the business development proposal process (RFP/RFQ).
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry is advantageous; experience within an architectural design firm is particularly valuable.

Salary Information

The estimated base salary ranges from $83,200 to $102,960, in addition to bonuses and benefits, contingent upon relevant experience.
