POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Creative Director at CUENTO Marketing will engage with a diverse range of clients, spearheading comprehensive creative ideation, design, hands-on production, and execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, dedicated to delivering innovative and captivating storytelling. In this role, you will shape the overarching visual narrative, ensuring that campaign aesthetics and deliverables are in harmony with brand guidelines and objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the client experience team and/or directly with clients to craft original and inventive concepts, producing professional creative work that aligns with brand identity.
  • Establish the creative vision for CUENTO and its clientele, ensuring uniformity across all communication channels.
  • Manage and guide creative projects from inception to completion, navigating a dynamic environment with varying brand requirements.
  • Lead the creation of diverse content, including branding materials, advertising initiatives, digital media, print collateral, large format signage, merchandise concepts, logos, product packaging, commercials, content series, and social media assets.
  • Formulate and enforce brand standards and visual identity for clients.
  • Oversee the quality control process to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Mentor and develop the creative design and production team, enhancing skills through the introduction of new techniques and technologies.
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and remain aligned with current trends and technological advancements.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and third-party design and video production services.
  • Oversee multiple projects across various industries, ensuring effective project management and timely delivery of assets.
  • Review and approve all creative outputs to guarantee accuracy and consistency, providing constructive feedback to achieve exemplary results.
  • Coordinate and supervise both static and video production, addressing various on-site production needs.
  • Direct and produce on-site productions, including set design and tactical execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and standards, continuously pursuing education in technology, techniques, and creative practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of ten years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere); knowledge of Adobe After Effects is advantageous. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) is also required.
  • Experience in developing marketing and advertising campaigns, overseeing production processes to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
  • Strong understanding of brand development and current marketing trends.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of file setup, layout design, typography, color theory, and design principles.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience in creating integrated content across various marketing channels, including digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.
  • Familiarity with large and small format printing processes and delivering print-ready artwork.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with strong time-management skills.
  • Experience in managing and directing photo and video shoots is a plus.
  • Exposure to various industries is beneficial, particularly in sports-related campaigns.
  • A proven track record of successful cross-departmental collaboration.
