About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our executive leadership team as a Vice President of Sales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales strategies that align with our company's vision and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and ensures our strong presence in the finance industry.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Identify emerging markets and market shifts while staying up-to-date on new products and competition status.
  • Sales Objectives and Quotas: Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
  • National Sales Programs: Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Sales Volume and Mix: Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Sales Team Management: Manage a sales team to meet and exceed targets, including hiring, training, performance monitoring, and feedback.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to understand and capitalize on trends, and create effective, targeted strategies.
  • Sales Reporting: Report on sales results and data to the senior management team, and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the finance industry.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, and develop and execute successful commercial strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills, with a strong ability to manage a high-performance sales team.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills and a persuasive communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
