Role Overview

As a Client Relationship Manager at Locality Inc, you will be pivotal in our mission to bridge the gap between agencies and local audiences through the effectiveness of Local TV.

Utilizing our unique strategy that merges television advertising with digital targeting, you will significantly contribute to engaging valuable audiences who are embracing new viewing habits.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactive Account Development: Identify, qualify, and expand the client portfolio, driving advertising revenue through direct sales within your assigned territory.
  • Negotiation Leadership: Oversee negotiation processes, ensuring advantageous terms for Locality while fostering enduring relationships with clients. Manage the complete contract closure process.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Position Locality effectively with key agency media directors and supervisors, establishing strategic partnerships to enhance revenue growth and credibility.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage the sales pipeline, projecting sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve and surpass quarterly sales targets by promoting standard media, video, mobile, programmatic, and tailored advertising solutions.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Planning, Ad-Ops, and Account Management, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Market Insight: Identify, analyze, and communicate trends within client markets and industries.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about Locality's product offerings and innovations.
  • Value Communication: Clearly articulate the value proposition of Locality's advertising solutions and how they align with client objectives.
  • Network Expansion: Leverage your existing network and continuously grow it within the industry.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
2-5+ years of experience in an agency and/or broadcast sales, with a solid understanding of the advertising landscape.
In-depth knowledge of the market with established relationships with clients and agencies (Media Planners, Media Supervisors).
Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and familiar with advertising technology platforms and tools.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable agreements with clients.
