Expanding Our Enterprise Sales Team:

The Enterprise Account Executive will spearhead the sales initiatives within a designated territory, focusing on acquiring new clients and engaging regional consultant influencers.

This role requires a proactive EAE who will drive growth and profitability in their territory by cultivating strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Responsibilities include strategizing and executing plans in areas such as new business generation, territory management, prospecting, relationship building, pricing strategies, presentations, negotiations, and contract execution.

The ideal candidate will identify potential leads that align with our ideal client profiles, effectively marketing our solutions to meet client needs. You will initiate and follow up on sales meetings, achieve sales objectives, and facilitate the transition of prospects into implementation, all while meeting established sales goals. Collaboration with sales support to create tailored proposals and communications for prospective clients is essential.

Responsibilities of the Okta Enterprise Account Executive:

Develop a strategic vision and plan for generating a robust pipeline of new logos, consistently achieving ARR revenue targets to support 40% YOY growth. Formulate and implement sales strategies to generate leads, drive opportunities, and ensure predictable bookings. Cultivate, adopt, and expand sales opportunities within Enterprise accounts in your region. Navigate and explore comprehensive relationships across the client's organizational structure. Establish yourself as a thought leader in Okta's platform. Foster relationships and orchestrate complex deals involving diverse business stakeholders. Uphold Okta's core value of prioritizing customer satisfaction. Leverage channel partnerships to uncover new opportunities. Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize resource utilization. Position Okta at both functional and business value levels with target stakeholders. Represent Okta to prospective clients through presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations. Build strong working relationships with Okta colleagues across various functions globally.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

7+ years of proven experience in direct field sales, focusing on developing new logos and selling enterprise cloud software to large organizations. Experience in leveraging partners, channels, and alliances to exceed sales quotas. Familiarity with complex solution software sales, particularly in enterprise cloud software, infrastructure management, application development, security, business applications, or analytics. A strong track record in new business development and consistently exceeding sales targets. Proven ability to sell complex enterprise software solutions in dynamic and rapidly changing environments. Experience in successfully selling during the market creation phase. Demonstrated success in closing significant software cloud deals within the designated territory. Strong executive presence and polished communication skills, with experience engaging with C-suite executives. Knowledge of target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques; familiarity with MEDDIC and Challenger methodologies is advantageous. Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary range for this position varies based on location and experience.
