How You Will Create Value as a Regional Sales Executive:
- Educate dealerships on all facets of the company’s financing programs and how to optimize the benefits for their specific operations
- Collaborate with other operational teams to secure quality business from current dealers and enhance program utilization
- Expand the assigned territory by identifying and onboarding new dealerships
- Conduct regular dealer visits, initiate cold calls, and respond to inbound inquiries from dealerships to foster relationships and capture business
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention among dealers
- Document and submit reports to track and evaluate established objectives
- Encourage a collaborative environment that supports the achievement of business goals by working closely with colleagues and management
- Engage in special projects as required
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by management or as necessitated by company needs
Qualifications for Success as a Regional Sales Executive:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and sales experience is required
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in auto finance, with a preference for sub-prime auto financing experience
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in sales, preferably within the auto industry
- Familiarity with the local market and established customer relationships is preferred
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to take initiative, identify needs, recommend improvements, implement solutions, and assess effectiveness
- Outstanding interpersonal skills: approachable and diplomatic, with the ability to influence others, manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, handle sensitive information, and build cross-functional partnerships
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A collaborative team player who can adapt in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Proficient in computer skills with a working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new software as needed
- Commitment to embodying the organization’s core values and competencies
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
Work Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer screen, and extensive reading
- Must be able to operate from a home office
- This role requires significant travel, both by vehicle and air; expect travel to comprise approximately 75% of the role, including overnight trips and extended hours
