Overview of the Role:

The Enterprise Account Executive will spearhead the sales process within a designated business territory, focusing on acquiring new clients and engaging regional consultant influencers.

The ideal candidate will consistently drive growth within their territory by establishing robust business relationships with both new and existing clients. Responsibilities include strategizing and executing sales initiatives in areas such as lead generation, territory management, proposal prospecting, relationship building, pricing strategies, presentations, negotiations, and contract execution.

Additionally, the Enterprise Account Executive will identify new leads that align with our ideal client profiles, effectively marketing Okta's offerings to meet client needs. You will initiate contact, follow up on sales meetings, achieve sales objectives, and ensure successful implementation while adhering to established sales targets. Collaboration with sales support will be essential in crafting tailored proposals and communications for prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate a strategic vision and plan for generating a pipeline of new logos, consistently achieving annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets to support significant growth. Develop and implement sales strategies to create opportunities and deliver predictable revenue. Cultivate and expand sales opportunities within Enterprise accounts in your designated region. Explore diverse relationships and business opportunities across the client's organizational structure. Establish yourself as a thought leader in Okta's platform. Foster relationships and navigate complex deals with various stakeholders. Uphold Okta's core value of prioritizing customer satisfaction. Leverage channel partnerships to uncover new business opportunities. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various functions to optimize resource deployment. Position Okta's solutions at both functional and business value levels with key stakeholders. Advocate for Okta during sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations. Build strong partnerships with Okta teams, including channel partners and sales engineering.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A minimum of 7 years of proven success in direct field sales, particularly in developing new business within enterprise cloud software. Experience in leveraging partners and channels to exceed sales quotas. Familiarity with complex software solutions, particularly in enterprise cloud, security, or analytics. A strong track record in new business development and consistently surpassing sales targets. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Demonstrated success in closing substantial software deals within the designated territory. Experience engaging with C-suite executives and possessing strong communication skills. Knowledge of target account selling and consultative sales techniques; familiarity with MEDDIC and Challenger methodologies is advantageous. Bachelor's degree; an MBA is a plus or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary range for this position varies based on location and experience.
