Position Overview:
We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned professional to assume the role of Head of Strategic Business Development. This individual will spearhead our global business initiatives and propel the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prime/OTC Dealing Desk Management: Establish and oversee a prime/OTC dealing desk to optimize trading operations and enhance market liquidity. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations during trade execution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate the regulatory landscape in key markets, ensuring adherence to local crypto regulations while developing strategies to mitigate legal risks.
  • Major Account Development: Identify and cultivate major accounts in strategic markets, building long-term relationships with high-value clients. Drive account growth through tailored initiatives and personalized engagement.
  • TradFi Partnerships: Forge and maintain partnerships with traditional finance institutions to expand business opportunities. Utilize existing networks to create strong alliances and promote cross-sector collaboration.
  • Product Enhancement: Work closely with the product team to refine existing offerings and develop new solutions that align with market demands. Provide strategic insights to ensure product relevance to business objectives and customer needs.
  • Global Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a global business development team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Set clear objectives, mentor team members, and drive performance to achieve ambitious goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing prime/OTC dealing desks and trading operations.
  • In-depth understanding of local crypto regulations in key markets.
  • Strong background in developing and managing major accounts in the US, EU, Australia, and other critical regions.
  • Extensive experience in building partnerships with traditional finance clients and institutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product teams to enhance and create market-relevant products.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a history of leading high-performing global teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset focused on achieving results and driving business growth.

The salary range for this position is $210,000 - $315,000, with the final offer dependent on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, performance bonuses and long-term incentives may be included as part of the compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position offered.
