Position Overview:
We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned professional to take on the role of Head of Strategic Business Development, responsible for spearheading our global business initiatives and propelling organizational growth.
This position demands a professional with extensive knowledge of prime/OTC trading, regulatory frameworks, and partnerships within traditional finance (TradFi).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prime/OTC Trading Desk Management:
Establish and oversee a prime/OTC trading desk to optimize trading operations and enhance market liquidity. Ensure trade execution aligns with both internal and external compliance standards. - Regulatory Compliance:
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate the regulatory landscape in critical markets, ensuring adherence to local crypto regulations while formulating strategies to mitigate legal risks. - Major Account Development:
Identify and cultivate major accounts in key markets, building enduring relationships with high-value clients. Drive account expansion through strategic initiatives and tailored client engagement. - TradFi Partnerships:
Forge and maintain partnerships with traditional finance institutions to broaden business opportunities. Utilize existing networks to create strong alliances and facilitate cross-sector collaboration. - Product Development:
Collaborate with product teams to enhance current offerings and develop new solutions that address market needs. Provide strategic insights to ensure product alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. - Global Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a global business development team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Set clear goals, offer mentorship, and drive team performance to meet ambitious targets.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in managing prime/OTC trading desks and trading operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of local crypto regulations in key markets.

- Extensive experience in establishing partnerships with traditional finance clients and institutions.

OKX Statement:

The salary range for this position is $210,000 - $315,000, influenced by various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, performance bonuses and long-term incentives may be included as part of the compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position offered.
