Compensation:
The pay rate for this position ranges from $35.00 to $50.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain all equipment related to the primary service line, with a strong preference for cross-training in other service line equipment.
  • Conduct hazard recognition assessments to eliminate workplace hazards.
  • Prepare and execute job responsibilities efficiently.
  • Uphold the company's reputation by performing tasks in a professional and safe manner.
  • Report to work punctually and notify supervisors at least 24 hours in advance if unable to attend.
  • Assist in project planning, including on-site inspections and procedure documentation.
  • Communicate job status updates to management and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain familiarity with all services and products offered by the division.
  • Propose enhancements to services and products based on field experiences.
  • Support daily maintenance of company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Assist technicians in their duties as needed.
  • Ensure proper setup and breakdown of equipment using the correct tools and procedures.
  • Review work orders to determine necessary hoses, chemicals, and equipment for each job.
  • Inspect equipment and work areas before commencing tasks, addressing any deficiencies.
  • Operate all company equipment as authorized and qualified, adhering to company and plant regulations.
  • Complete service logs and paperwork associated with job performance, returning them to designated supervisors.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as required by safety protocols and customer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the job site and company facilities.
  • Ensure equipment is decontaminated at the conclusion of each job.
  • Prioritize safety by reporting all incidents and promoting safe practices.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with approximately 1.5 years of industry experience. Candidates should have one to four years of experience in wastewater or water treatment operations.

Skills and Abilities:
Candidates must possess the ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions in English, basic math skills, and a solid understanding of equipment. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Experience working in confined spaces under supervision is required, along with the ability to pass an annual written examination.

Certifications:
Preferred candidates will hold a SWRCB Grade III or higher Wastewater/Water Treatment Certification as mandated by the facility being operated.
