Job Summary

Veolia Environnement SA is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Operator III to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain all equipment associated with the wastewater treatment process.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Approximately 1.5 years of industry experience preferred.
  • 1-4 years of experience in wastewater/water treatment operations.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Skilled and qualified in primary service line.
  • Good equipment knowledge.
  • Good communication skills, written and oral.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SWRCB Grade III or higher Wastewater/Water Treatment Certification.
