Compensation:
The pay rate for this position ranges from $35.00 to $50.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain all equipment related to the primary service line, with a strong emphasis on the ability to manage additional service line equipment.
  • Conduct Hazard Recognition Awareness to eliminate workplace hazards.
  • Set up and execute job responsibilities effectively.
  • Uphold the company's reputation by performing tasks in a professional and safe manner.
  • Adhere to scheduled work times and notify supervisors at least 24 hours in advance if unable to attend.
  • Assist in project planning, including on-site inspections and writing procedures.
  • Communicate job status to management and customer representatives throughout the job lifecycle.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all services and products offered by the division.
  • Propose enhancements to services and products based on job experiences.
  • Support field maintenance of company vehicles and equipment daily.
  • Assist Technicians in their duties and responsibilities.
  • Manage the hookup and breakdown of equipment using appropriate tools and procedures.
  • Review work orders to determine necessary hoses, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Inspect equipment and work areas prior to job commencement, addressing any deficiencies.
  • Operate company equipment as authorized and qualified, following all relevant rules and work orders.
  • Complete service logs and paperwork related to job performance, returning it to designated supervisory personnel.
  • Utilize prescribed personal protective equipment and enforce safety measures among technicians and subcontractors.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, including the proper decontamination of equipment post-job.
  • Report all incidents, near misses, and injuries to promote a culture of safety.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with approximately 1.5 years of industry experience, ideally in wastewater or water treatment operations.

Skills and Abilities:
Candidates should possess the ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions in English, basic math skills, and a strong understanding of equipment. Good communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Experience in confined spaces under supervision is also required. Successful candidates will pass an annual written examination during the review period.

Certifications:
Preferred certifications include SWRCB Grade III or higher Wastewater/Water Treatment Certification as required by the facility being operated.
