Position Overview: The Dining Reservations Coordinator is the primary point of contact for guests seeking information about our dining establishments. This role encompasses managing restaurant bookings, providing detailed descriptions of dining options, and addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exemplary customer service to guests while managing restaurant reservations in accordance with established standards.
- Efficiently input and organize reservation details using the Open Table system, including special occasions and peak periods.
- Respond to requests from in-house guests, ensuring a superior level of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of special requests and ensure they are properly noted in the reservation system.
- Understand the restaurant's sales strategy by monitoring table availability and turnover rates.
- Manage table allocations and pre-blocks for special requests.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu and all associated items.
- Be familiar with the room service process and available in-room amenities.
- Have a thorough understanding of the resort's facilities and amenities.
- Utilize the Point-of-Sale system and reservation software effectively.
- Communicate clear directions to guests regarding the resort and restaurant facilities.
- Provide information about the resort and dining options in a clear and engaging manner.
- Assist guests with modifications or cancellations of their reservations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to remain seated at a desk for extended periods.
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficient phone etiquette skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Open Table reservation software is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to follow-through.
