Key Responsibilities
Role of the Lead Reservations Sales Consultant
The Lead Reservations Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in assisting the Reservations Sales Advisors and Supervisors by managing inquiries, addressing escalations, and responding to requests in the shared email inbox. This allows the team to concentrate on sales while minimizing administrative distractions. The position is vital in supporting the Reservations Sales Channel through daily engagement with the Reservation Team, ensuring adherence to schedules, managing business volumes, and upholding company policies to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key duties include:
- Leadership: Serve as a Supervisor on Duty when necessary, providing support to fellow agents, resolving issues, and managing escalations. Monitor adherence to schedules and assist with various support tasks to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business.
- Client Engagement: Maintain proactive relationships with Canyon Ranch customers by meeting or exceeding daily call quotas. Handle incoming requests through various channels, employing active listening and consultative selling techniques to tailor value-based offers to customer needs.
- System Management: As a representative of the customer experience, maintain accurate customer records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Process reservations using the Property Management System (PMS) and ensure data integrity for all bookings.
- Knowledge Management: Collaborate with key contacts across the organization to ensure that agents have access to the latest information regarding products and services offered by Canyon Ranch.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of relevant experience with some supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience in hospitality or call center environments is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive demeanor in sales interactions.
- Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in computer applications.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
