Key Responsibilities

Role of the Lead Reservations Sales Consultant

The Lead Reservations Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in assisting the Reservations Sales Advisors and Supervisors by managing inquiries, addressing escalations, and providing support through the shared email communication platform. This position is vital in allowing the Reservations Sales team to concentrate on sales activities while minimizing administrative distractions.

Key functions include:

  • Leadership: Serve as a Supervisor on Duty when necessary, guiding fellow agents in resolving issues and ensuring adherence to schedules and policies.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain proactive communication with Canyon Ranch's clientele by meeting or exceeding daily call quotas. Engage with customers through various channels, employing active listening and consultative selling techniques to tailor value-based offers.
  • System Management: Act as the voice of the customer, maintaining accurate records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and making reservations using the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with key contacts across the organization to ensure that all agents are informed about the latest offerings and services available at Canyon Ranch.

Qualifications for Success

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience in hospitality or call center environments is advantageous.
  • Exceptional telephone communication skills and a positive demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and computer proficiency.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
