About the Position

Dexis Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) Consultant to provide tailored support to integrate GESI into relevant proposals and programs across multiple practice areas.

The selected candidate will be engaged through a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) and issued individual task orders for each agreed upon assignment. The consultant will provide technical input into the design and development of proposals, ensuring GESI integration and responsiveness to donor requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of gender equity and social inclusion principles and best practices, with a minimum of ten years' experience in GESI programming and proposal development for donor programming, preferably with USAID experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
    • Identify key GESI issues, challenges, and opportunities that need to be addressed in the proposal context.
    • Collect and analyze gender-disaggregated data to inform proposal development.
    • Propose evidence-based interventions and activities that promote gender equity and social inclusion and align with donor requirements and preferences.
  • Project Implementation:
    • Lead the development and implementation of an evidence-based project-level GESI analysis and action plan tailored to the project's objectives and context.
    • Perform research, analysis, and synthesis of topics and issues from a GESI and intersectional perspective.
    • Undertake and occasionally supervise fieldwork to gather information about the current context for project implementation.
  • Mentorship and Training:
    • Provide mentorship and training to staff working with or providing support to the GESI Consultant.
Deliverables
  • Business Development:
    • Written or verbal debrief of key GESI issues, challenges, and opportunities within the proposal context.
    • Sections of the proposal related to GESI, including methodology, activities, and budget justifications.
  • Project Implementation:
    • GESI analyses and action plans.
    • Gender-transformative and inclusive project recommendations that are useful and realistic, given country realities and resources.

$120,000 - $150,000 per year

This salary estimate is based on industry standards and may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
