About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at the United Nations Foundation. As a key member of our research and technical activities, you will provide leadership and support in data collection, analysis, and research on gender data thematic areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify emerging areas of relevance for gender data.
  • Oversee the conceptualization, design, and production of research and data products on relevant gender data thematic areas.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop advocacy materials and messages for national, regional, and international audiences.
  • Collaborate with partners and consultants on relevant research projects.
  • Provide strategic support to the Executive Director and the Director, Partnerships, Advocacy, and Communications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced university degree (Master's or PhD) in development economics, development policy, or another relevant discipline is highly preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in empirical policy analysis.
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and research on gender and/or development is required.
  • Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and coalition-building.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within international, multilateral, or bilateral agencies.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.

  • An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
