Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales drivers, and key decision-makers to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and execute tailored sales plans to meet customer needs and exceed sales expectations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage prospects to acquire new customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Travel to customers' facilities to provide product information and support, and to negotiate sales and service agreements.
  • Stay up-to-date on company products, pricing, and promotions to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Manage assigned leads and follow up on sales activities to ensure timely follow-through.
  • Communicate regularly with the Division Sales Manager on sales progress, goals, and customer interactions.
  • Conduct store visits to identify service strengths and opportunities, and to negotiate ads and gain more space/displays.
  • Attend grand openings and store anniversaries to build relationships and promote company products.
  • Review weekly Out-of-Stock (OOS) reports to address deficiencies and ensure timely resolution.
  • Use effective time management skills to service stores and establish customer relationships, and to prioritize tasks to meet sales goals.
  • Establish a plan to organize, re-route, or run a route as needed, and ensure route paperwork is organized.
  • Ensure stores are well-serviced without credits, and follow all procedures for getting in and out of the back of the truck.
  • Attend weekly safety meetings and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Ensure truck inventory is in compliance, and follow all company procedures, including personal hygiene policies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel to customers' facilities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with customers and sales drivers.
  • Ability to carry 20-40 pounds and maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Must adhere to all safety measures, including wearing a back brace support while picking up cases.
  • Ability to work independently and display a professional demeanor representing the company.
  • Ability to communicate timely with management through phone or email.
  • Experience using personal access to functional tools, such as smartphones or tablets, and basic computer functions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, full coverage auto insurance, and a clean MVR record.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
  • 1+ years' experience in retail or field-based sales role.
  • Knowledge of basic computer functions, including downloading documents, email, internet, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and display a professional demeanor representing clients.
  • Ability to communicate timely with Management through phone or email.
  • Experience using personal access to functional tools such as Smart phone or Smart pad and computer.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, full coverage auto insurance, and a clean MVR record.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
