Position Overview

We seek individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and have a deep appreciation for French culture, gastronomy, wine, and cocktails. Kitchen Philosophy

Our kitchen operates on a whole animal butchery model, emphasizing a 'nose to tail' philosophy and a keen focus on seasonality with local and regional ingredients. The kitchen is designed with an open concept, allowing guests to witness the culinary process firsthand at our chef's counter, which features tasting menus.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Food & Beverage Service is essential.
  • Previous roles as a Cook or Chef are required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in culinary positions is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques and skills is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of food and wine is preferred, along with a willingness to learn.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, accept constructive feedback, and collaborate productively within a team environment.

Mathematical Skills

  • Basic mathematical knowledge and understanding are required.

Decision-Making Skills

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions based on job knowledge and company objectives.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs regularly.

Work Environment

  • Work will be conducted in the Dining Room, Bar, and Kitchen areas.
