Kitchen Philosophy

Our kitchen emphasizes a whole animal butchery approach, focusing on a 'nose to tail' philosophy while prioritizing seasonality and utilizing local and regional ingredients. The kitchen is designed with an open concept, allowing guests to observe the culinary process at our chef's counter, which features tasting menus.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Food & Beverage Service is essential.
  • Prior experience as a Cook/Chef is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a culinary role is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques and skills is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of food and wine is preferred, along with a willingness to learn.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, accept constructive feedback, and collaborate within a team environment.

Mathematical Skills

  • Basic mathematical knowledge and understanding are required.

Decision-Making Skills

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions based on job knowledge and company objectives.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs regularly.

Work Environment

  • Work will be conducted in Dining Room, Bar, and Kitchen areas.
