Role Overview:
As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting Sales Managers, the Banquet Manager, Front Desk staff, and upper management in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include performing administrative and clerical tasks related to group bookings, events, and corporate accounts while ensuring seamless communication between guests and hotel staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming sales inquiries and qualify leads with effective communication skills.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and necessary documentation, including contracts and proposals.
  • Coordinate all aspects of group and wedding business as directed by the sales team.
  • Follow up on contracted business to ensure all client needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments to guarantee successful execution of events.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client files to support efficient service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through professional and courteous interactions.
  • Collaborate with sales personnel to meet team objectives.
  • Stay informed about hotel rates, strategies, and promotional offers.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports as required.
  • Facilitate communication regarding upcoming events within the hotel team.
  • Support the implementation of hotel-specific sales strategies.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests.
  • Exhibit professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
  • Foster a positive team environment through open communication.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Assist with organizing client events and luncheons.
  • Support Sales Managers with data entry in sales systems.
  • Conduct tours for prospective clients.
  • Ensure office supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers on group turnover and execution.

Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational and editing skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Work Environment:
This position is based in a general office and hotel environment, requiring effective communication and organizational skills.
