Retail Sales Support Specialist

Position Overview

The Retail Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall performance and effectiveness of the store, requiring a strong commitment to our brand values while engaging with customers. This position is focused on creating memorable experiences for our clientele through friendly and efficient service at the cash wrap and maintaining an organized sales environment. Precision and efficiency in managing product flow from receipt to point of sale are vital components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

CASH WRAP:
Welcome customers warmly with a smile and eye contact, introducing yourself.
Engage authentically with customers, recognizing their needs.
Collect email and name information where permitted.
Ensure accuracy while operating the Point of Sale system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cash wrap.
Propose additional products and promote gift cards.
Handle cash and POS media in accordance with company policies.
Leave a positive impression by thanking customers and encouraging return visits.
Represent the brand with professionalism.

STOCKROOM / WAREHOUSE:
Receive and process shipments and transfers.
Inform management upon arrival of new products.
Scan and verify shipments, ensuring correct store information.
Report any discrepancies to management.
Follow company standards for processing shipments and transfers.
Keep the stockroom organized and clean on a daily basis.
Adjust stock levels in response to sales trends and prepare for new inventory.
Conduct regular inventory counts as directed.
Adhere to company loss prevention protocols.

SALES FLOOR:
Regularly assess the sales floor for replenishment needs.
Restock merchandise in assigned areas and execute visual merchandising as required.
Assist with sales floor activities as needed.
Effectively communicate product details, pricing, and availability to customers.
Respond confidently to customer inquiries, collaborating with the sales team or management when necessary.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization on the sales floor.

Additional Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment, with a solid understanding of current fashion trends.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including the use of mobile devices and internet applications.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving products.

Schedule: Flexibility to meet scheduling expectations, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak retail periods.
