Sales Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for executing general administrative tasks to assist the Sales & Marketing department. This includes managing documentation throughout the sales cycle, such as proposals, contracts, and event orders. The role also involves enhancing the brand's visibility both internally and externally, as well as compiling and organizing informational materials, including brochures and promotional content.
The ideal candidate will utilize effective sales strategies to optimize revenue while ensuring customer loyalty. Responsibilities include entering, retrieving, and verifying sales-related data within the relevant software systems. The Sales Support Specialist will also address client inquiries regarding the company's services, including operational hours, pricing, available packages, and special events.
Adherence to company policies and procedures is essential, along with maintaining a professional appearance and safeguarding confidential information. The role requires welcoming guests according to company standards, anticipating their needs, and expressing gratitude for their patronage. Clear and professional communication is vital, as is the ability to prepare and review documents accurately.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues is crucial, as is supporting team objectives and responding appropriately to coworkers' concerns. Compliance with quality assurance standards is expected. The role may involve light physical tasks, such as moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a related role.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None required.
