We are seeking a skilled Accounting Payables Specialist to join our team at Danny's Detail. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of the General Ledger, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial data
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and contribute to the implementation of process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and cash flow management
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office and QuickBooks
  • 10-key typing
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
