We are seeking a motivated professional with an inclusive approach to join our team as an Area Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership
  • Inspire and motivate teams to drive year-over-year sales growth by fostering a selling culture and implementing performance incentives.
  • Ensure consistent operational excellence across the area.
  • Evaluate the store leadership team proactively, guiding managers in developing their associates.
  • Oversee performance management standards in all area stores.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of associate talent and expertise within the area to leverage skills and training effectively.
  • Develop and manage recruiting strategies to build a robust talent pipeline.
Business Acumen
  • Stay informed about competitors in the region and provide insights on sales, service, product presentation, and marketing strategies.
  • Offer expertise on projects relevant to the store organization and contribute to company-wide initiatives.
  • Commit to continuous learning and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment.
Results Driven
  • Assess situations and formulate strategic plans to address challenges.
  • Identify opportunities and independently solve complex issues.
  • Adapt to changes in the area swiftly as business needs evolve.
  • Approach business with a comprehensive perspective while executing local actions.
  • Develop solution-oriented action plans and respond agilely to challenges.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and associate engagement to redirect efforts as necessary.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Implement leadership decisions that support company-wide initiatives across all business channels.
  • Build and nurture relationships with business partners throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with regional directors and store managers on strategic decisions and continuous improvement feedback.
  • Gather insights from various business channels and customers to enhance product offerings and service quality.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in multi-unit retail management, with a preference for those managing $50 million+ in volume.
  • Demonstrated success in developing talent and future leaders within complex business operations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of driving business results and meeting objectives.
  • A keen sense of personal style and a passion for design and home furnishings.
  • A strong desire to excel in the retail industry.

Compensation: Starting at $120,000.00 annually, with potential earnings up to $170,000.00 annually. Compensation may include bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives based on role.
