Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) is a cohesive entity within the Federal Reserve, dedicated to overseeing essential payment and securities services that enhance the accessibility, integrity, and efficiency of the U.S. economy. We facilitate the Federal Reserve System's operation of an electronic payments and information delivery network, serving over 9,000 financial institutions and processing more than 70 million transactions daily.
The Marketing Communications team is a diverse and forward-thinking group within FRFS, responsible for strategic brand stewardship and integrated communication strategies across FRFS payment products and services.
The Marketing Communications Specialist plays a crucial role in implementing content marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing for FRFS. This position requires a data-informed approach, exceptional writing and creative content development skills, effective project management, and meticulous attention to detail in executing marketing communications initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Formulates and implements content marketing strategies across various channels (e.g., owned, shared, paid, earned) to support marketing communications objectives.
- Utilizes and integrates data-driven insights to shape the communications strategy and compile campaign results for reporting and enhancing campaign performance.
- Creates communication project plans, oversees content reviews and approvals, and proactively manages timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborates with market research, analytics, customer support, and sales teams to align on customer needs and enhance customer experience.
- Organizes and executes customer engagement initiatives through emails, webinars, and events, including logistics and materials preparation.
- Assists in developing project status reports, campaign reports, budget documentation, and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Coordinates participation and logistics for industry conferences.
- Maintains website content, customer data, and targeted distribution lists.
- Fosters positive working relationships with internal stakeholders.
Your Background
- Fundamental understanding of digital content strategy and key channels (e.g., website, email, social media, paid media), corporate communications, and B2B marketing principles.
- Strong command of written communication, including adherence to AP style, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear messages.
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple projects within a complex, deadline-driven, and geographically diverse organization.
- Experience and aptitude for utilizing marketing technology and software applications for digital content management, email distribution, data analytics, design, and social media.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
