  • Design and implement strategies for community engagement to foster strong connections with stakeholders and local entities.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand visibility and establishing a favorable reputation within the community.
  • Create and uphold communication strategies that align with the organization’s overarching goals.
  • Forge and nurture relationships with media representatives, clients, government officials, and funding sources to advocate for the agency's mission.
  • Effectively leverage social media and content management tools to engage with donors and the broader community.
  • Serve as a point of contact for government bodies regarding community relations matters.
  • Produce engaging content for newsletters, press releases, and various social media channels.
  • Establish and sustain a public awareness initiative for New Avenues.
  • Oversee fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor relations, and event planning.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure fundraising activities align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Fundraising, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in community relations, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in event coordination and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software and donor management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
