About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Content Specialist to join our team at Cohen & Company. As a critical member of our Marketing Department, you will work closely with our team and other stakeholders to execute communications programs and initiatives that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation and Management
    • Develop and maintain professional biographies for our managers and partners, working closely with individuals to ensure accuracy and quality.
    • Write, edit, and proof copy for our website, social media platforms, and client-facing email communications.
    • Develop content to support events, sponsorships, and other programs, including ads, firm profiles, and other marketing materials.
  • Social Media and Digital Presence
    • Drive the planning and execution of social media content, including cultivating, writing, editing, and posting strategic social media posts for our platforms.
    • Monitor our social media channels and recommend ways to elevate our profiles and social presence.
    • Maintain and champion our employee advocacy platform.
  • Project Management and Collaboration
    • Assist with firmwide internal communications projects, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
    • Manage award nominations for the firm, including tracking, writing, editing, and submission activities.
    • Assist with writing basic news releases and marketing collateral.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of experience in B2B writing, editing, and social media, with a strong emphasis on short-form writing and editing.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in AP style of writing and Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with InDesign, graphic programs, web content management systems, and employee advocacy platforms is a plus.
