About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our 2nd Shift team at Integrated Power Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining industrial AC/DC electric motors, generators, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair industrial electric motors, generators, and gearboxes, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets our quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our team to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas to improve our repair processes and equipment performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in daily operations discussions to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance our repair processes and equipment performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-5 years of experience in AC/DC motor repair and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, as well as experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods, as well as lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs.
