ROLE OVERVIEW

As a leader in innovation, we seek dynamic, forward-thinking, and well-rounded professionals to join our global team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for the sales and promotion of Gates Power Transmission product lines and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement growth strategies for both established accounts and potential new clients.
  • Drive the adoption of new Gates products and solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand our market presence.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements relevant to our target markets.
  • Conduct regular sales outreach to explore opportunities, provide training, and enhance overall brand awareness.
  • Follow up on leads generated through various marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize our CRM systems accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive sales plans for short, mid, and long-term objectives.
  • Communicate significant sales activities to support effective product and service planning.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and prospects.
  • Monitor competitive activities to identify potential opportunities or necessary counteractions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience or equivalent industry knowledge.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent work experience; a college degree in business or engineering is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of MRO and OEM markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to manage data effectively.
  • Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • The capability to travel extensively (30-50% of the time).
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to manage time independently and proactively.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary plus commission through our Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). Benefits include:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, with coverage starting on the first day of the month following your hire date.
  • Three weeks of paid vacation, 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating), and 8 sick days, all accrued.
  • A 401(k) plan with a 3% company contribution and an additional 3% match.
  • Tuition reimbursement opportunities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role requires frequent sitting, using hands to handle objects, and effective communication. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching are also necessary. The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds is required.
