SUMMARY

The Receptionist plays a vital role in providing administrative assistance within the RCAC and CBRF community. This position is tasked with executing clerical responsibilities, facilitating the flow of information, and completing assigned projects. As the primary point of contact, the Receptionist is expected to perform all duties with a focus on resident satisfaction while continuously seeking improvements in core processes. The schedule will be determined by operational requirements, which may include various shifts, weekends, and on-call duties as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
  • Welcoming and engaging with residents, family members, guests, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls, intercom communications, and paging systems
  • Ensuring building security by monitoring security systems, including emergency call systems, and responding appropriately
  • Overseeing the operation and upkeep of all office equipment and communication tools, while managing inventory for office and community supplies
  • Coordinating mail and newspaper deliveries
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a technical school or an Associate Degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within property management or real estate
